Fogo de Chão will open its third Bay State steakhouse in 2025, the high-end restaurant chain said in a news release on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The new location will be at 210 Andover Street near the Northshore Mall.
The Peabody restaurant will join Fogo de Chão's existing spots in Boston and Burlington.
"We’re excited to be opening our third location in this vibrant community," said Fogo de Chão CEO Barry McGowan. "Peabody's unique blend of tradition and modernity makes it the perfect setting for our approachable dining experience, and we look forward to providing both local residents and visitors with exceptional service and an unforgettable culinary journey."
The 6,184-square-foot steakhouse will feature a contemporary design and an inviting dining room. Designed in partnership with architecture firm Harrison, an open churrasco grill will offer guests a 360-degree view of gaucho chefs hand-carving high-quality meats.
Fogo de Chão's signature dish is a 32-ounce long-bone tomahawk ribeye. The steak is aged in on-site dry-aging meat lockers for at least 42 days to enhance flavor.
The restaurant will also highlight its Market Table, offering an array of seasonal salads, fresh superfoods, cured meats, and antipasti. Guests can enjoy enhanced social spaces throughout Bar Fogo and the dining room, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings.
Founded in Brazil in 1979, Fogo de Chão opened its first U.S. steakhouse 27 years ago and arrived in the greater Boston area about 13 years ago.
